Why Latence

A preparation tool,
not a magic promise

Latence does not modify your games. It helps you prepare Windows cleanly, measure what changes and roll back when a setting does not suit your setup.

Measure before and after
Benchmark FPS, frametimes and percentiles, then compare session history to verify the real impact of a profile.
useful when impressions are not enough
Profiles with guardrails
Gaming and Gaming+ apply settings suited to your machine and usage instead of blindly running an aggressive tweak list.
clear for beginners, precise enough to tune
Reversible by design
Every change is dated and kept in a history, so you can inspect a tweak and restore it in one click.
you know what changes, and why
Features

What Latence actually
does for your PC

A Windows control center built for players: diagnostics, profiles, benchmarks, session cleanup and rollback.

Optimizations
Ready-to-use Normal, Gaming and Gaming+ profiles, individual tweaks, and the freedom to create your own tweaks and profiles. Read the Windows guide.
Network diagnostics
Measure latency, jitter, throughput, DNS and bufferbloat to understand whether an issue comes from your PC, Wi-Fi or line. Read the latency guide.
GPU drivers
Detect your NVIDIA or AMD graphics card and make it easier to download the right drivers from the app.
Stase
Find secondary apps to close and processes to pause during a session, then restore them afterwards.
Snapshots and rollback
Create a return point before sensitive actions, review your backups and restore a previous state when needed.
Benchmark
Capture game sessions and compare average FPS, 1% lows and frametime stability to see whether a setting really changed anything.
How it works

Prepare a session
without getting lost in Windows

The flow stays simple, while every sensitive action remains visible and reversible.

01
Install and run as administrator
Latence runs on Windows 10/11 with administrator rights so settings are applied cleanly, snapshots stay reliable and rollback remains controlled.
02
Apply a profile
Latence prepares a return point before every important profile or tweak and shows the settings that will change.
03
Measure and adjust
Run a benchmark, compare your results and keep only the optimizations that make sense for your machine.

Guides

Diagnose before you change

Latence separates network, FPS stability and Windows configuration issues so you can avoid random tweaks.

High or unstable ping

Start by checking whether the problem comes from the server, Wi-Fi, router or line. Read the ping guide.

Latency under load

If ping spikes during a download, stream or update, investigate bufferbloat. Test bufferbloat.

Wi-Fi jitter

When average ping looks fine but the game still stutters, jitter may explain the experience. Understand jitter.

DNS and service connections

DNS can slow a launcher or initial matchmaking without necessarily changing in-game ping. See what DNS affects.

FPS and frametime

To judge a Windows optimization, compare frame consistency instead of average FPS alone. Measure frametimes.

Drivers and rollback

Update drivers at the right time and always keep a way back before testing a profile. GPU drivers · Rollback.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Latence a cheat?

No. Latence does not modify game files, inject code or interact with anti-cheat systems. It adjusts Windows, driver and network settings at system level.

Can it damage my PC?

Latence is designed to limit that risk with tweak descriptions, risk levels, snapshots, history and rollback. As with any system tool, review sensitive actions before applying them.

Why does the app run as administrator?

Administrator rights let Latence apply settings cleanly, take reliable snapshots and provide controlled rollback. Windows shows a UAC permission prompt when the app starts.

What exactly does the benchmark measure?

It captures FPS, frametimes, percentiles and session information so you can compare several runs and verify whether a profile really improves your machine.

What does the network diagnostic use?

Latence measures throughput, latency, DNS and responsiveness to separate a Windows issue from a Wi-Fi, router or connection issue.

Which games does it support?

Latence optimizes Windows at system level, so it can help before playing Valorant, CS2, Fortnite, Apex, League of Legends or any other PC game without touching the game itself.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. Payments are managed through Stripe and you can manage your subscription from your account or the customer portal. The lifetime option has no recurring fee.
