Prepare your gaming PC
from one single tool
Windows settings, network, drivers, disk space: Latence brings it all together in one place, explains every change in plain words, and lets you undo anything in one click if a setting is not for you.
Free download · Windows 10 and 11 · every change is reversible
A preparation tool,
not a magic promise
Latence does not touch your games and does not promise miracles. It helps you get your PC into good shape, verify what actually changed, and roll back when a setting does not suit your setup.
What Latence actually
does for your PC
A control center for your gaming PC: optimizations, network, drivers, disk space and game sessions, all in one app.
No two PCs get
the same number of settings
Latence reads your configuration before suggesting anything: a setting that does not concern your machine stays hidden. The catalog holds close to 70 optimizations, but nobody sees them all.
-
Desktop with a dedicated GPU ≈ 55 to 65 settings
Windows services, network, GPU, power, plus the overlays of the software you actually have installed (Discord, GeForce, iCUE, Synapse…): this is the setup that exposes the most.
-
Laptop or integrated GPU ≈ 40 to 55 settings
NVIDIA, AMD and Intel specific settings disappear without the matching chip, and part of the network section depends on the Wi-Fi adapter. In exchange, power and sleep behaviour matter far more.
-
Windows already trimmed Only what is left to do
Whatever is already in place shows up as active instead of being counted again as a future gain. The number of remaining settings drops on its own.
The exact count for your machine is shown inside the app, before any change. And the real gain is decided by a before/after benchmark on your PC, not by a number printed on a website. See what each setting changes.
Prepare a session
without getting lost in Windows
The flow stays simple, while every sensitive action remains visible and reversible.

Diagnose before you change
Latence separates network, FPS stability and Windows configuration issues so you can avoid random tweaks.
- High or unstable ping Start by checking whether the problem comes from the server, Wi-Fi, router or line. Read the ping guide
- Latency under load If ping spikes during a download, stream or update, investigate bufferbloat. Test bufferbloat
- Wi-Fi jitter When average ping looks fine but the game still stutters, jitter may explain the experience. Understand jitter
- DNS and service connections DNS can slow a launcher or initial matchmaking without necessarily changing in-game ping. See what DNS affects
- FPS and frametime To judge a Windows optimization, compare frame consistency instead of average FPS alone. Measure frametimes
- PC input lag If the mouse feels heavy even offline, separate the display, synchronization, rendering, driver, and peripheral paths. Diagnose input lag
- Drivers and rollback Update drivers at the right time and always keep a way back before testing a profile. GPU drivers · Rollback
Frequently asked questions
Is Latence free?
The download is free and the core features can be used without paying. Pro plans unlock the advanced features: system and custom profiles, GPU drivers and advanced tweaks.
Is Latence a cheat?
No. Latence does not modify game files, inject code or interact with anti-cheat systems. It adjusts Windows, driver and network settings at system level.
Can it damage my PC?
Latence is designed to limit that risk with tweak descriptions, risk levels, snapshots, history and rollback. As with any system tool, review sensitive actions before applying them.
Why does the app run as administrator?
Administrator rights let Latence apply settings cleanly, take reliable snapshots and provide controlled rollback. Windows shows a UAC permission prompt when the app starts.
What exactly does the benchmark measure?
It captures FPS, frametimes, percentiles and session information so you can compare several runs and verify whether a profile really improves your machine.
What does the network diagnostic use?
Latence measures throughput, latency, DNS and responsiveness to separate a Windows issue from a Wi-Fi, router or connection issue.
Which games does it support?
Latence optimizes Windows at system level, so it can help before playing Valorant, CS2, Fortnite, Apex, League of Legends or any other PC game without touching the game itself.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Payments are managed through Stripe and you can manage your subscription from your account or the customer portal. The lifetime option has no recurring fee.
